Hi,
I am a professional composer of classical music and freelance music teacher based in Slovakia.
I am passionate about music education, particularly in providing an opportunity for students to compose, create their own music and find their own unique artistic personality. My aim in teaching is to equip students with the musical tools and techniques in order to help them perform, compose and make music effectively and creatively in their own individual way, where the skills learnt can build confidence and inform other aspects of their lives. I have a flexible, patient and interactive approach to teaching tailored to the individual needs of the student, where I am happy to teach those who would like to learn for pleasure as well as for graded exams and formal study.
My music has been heard on BBC Radio 3, WPRB, ABC Classic FM, Concertzender, ORF, Deutschlandradio, Lyric RTE FM, Klassikaraadio, Czech Radio, RTP Antena 2 Portugal, IBA Israel, Slovak Radio, Radio Beograd 3 and performed by ensembles such as the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, I.J.Padarewski State Philharmonic Orchestra, Camerata Europea, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Conductors who have championed my work include Anu Tali, Benjamin Bayl, Florian Ludwig, Miran Vaupotić, Paweł Przytocki, Paweł Osuchowski, Maria Makraki, Paweł Osuchowski, Miran Vaupotić, Gum Nanse, Peter Breiner, Peter Vrábel, Ivan Marković, Marián Lejava, Petr Kofroň, Dominika Kawiorska, Ondřej Kukal, Aleksander Gref and Karol Kevický.
