Recent projects include two works written on the occassion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, titled Z luhů a hájů, riek a hôr (From the Woods and Fields, Rivers and Mountains) for orchestra (2fl, 1ob, 2cl, fg, cr, arpa, pno, archi), and 1-9-1-8 for violin and piano, commissioned by Czechoslovak Chamber Duo, as well as a work for accordion and symphony orchestra, an organ piece for Carson Cooman, a string quartet for Neo Electric Quartet, a piano duet for Cluster Ensemble, a composition for Duo Accosphere, and a concerto for viola and strings, commissioned by Sasha Mirković and Ensemble Metamorphosis.
Upcoming highlights in autumn 2018 include the world premieres of the 12 minute Błogosławieni for soprano, solo violin and string orchestra at the Lublin Philharmonic on 28th September, and the electric string quartet Terauchi in Gdansk on 25th October.
Harpsichordist Elina Mustonen's ”Birds” are flowing into production. Released on 23rd July 2018, the new CD includes bird inspired music by François Couperin, Jean-Philippe Rameau, William Byrd (!) and first recordings of pieces by Olli Mustonen and Peter Machajdík. The album is available via the Finnish company Fuga Oy. The magnificent painting ”Concerto, partly after Ray Ching” on the lid of Elina Mustonen's beautiful harpsichord by Willem Kroesbergen is by Risto Lammin-Soila.
