Slovak composer Peter Machajdík has received a grant that enables him to compose new works for soloists, duos, trios, quartets, ensembles, orchestras and vocal ensembles as well as music for ballet and modern dance companies from around the globe.
The new works will be composed in the period from 1 January to 31 July 2025 and can be performed from January 2026.
Musicians, dancers and choreographers interested in receiving and performing a new work composed by Machajdík do not have to pay anything for the music. No matter what country they come from.
The only requirement is that they can organize at least one public concert / dance performance of the new work wherever in the world during some of the next concert seasons (2025/2026, 2026/207 or 2027/2028) themselves, or that they can record the work composed for them.
